What is group decision-making?

Decision-making is defined as selecting a course of action among several options.

The important thing in all this is that the head reflects coherence, ie that take seriously the public consultations even he doesn´t conclude with the decisions he would, otherwise, the staff will end up believing that everything is a purely cosmetic to give a team image that does not exist. This may even be more harmful than just making individual decisions.

However, it is a reality that many of the ideas that are implemented in companies come from the staff, which is who does the work every day with the customer. This interaction and experience fosters creativity and innovation to tackle the various problems that arise.

Employers thus have various techniques to put this into practice, among which groups of tasks (task forces) that are dedicated to analyzing a particular problem and find a solution, or idea-generating groups (brain-storming) to find new ways to tackle the problems.

Ultimately, the group decision making is an essential component of the administrative work of enterprises.
